Leisure works well when the main aim is to enjoy activities together. Depending on the day or overnight package, the experience can include horse riding, archery, tennis, mini golf, basketball, medieval bowling and swimming.

Immersion

Immersion is built around understanding Tafaria through the Once Upon a Dream experience and learning spaces such as the museum, herbarium, Nano Farm and arts.

How the prices are structured

Day tickets and conference packages are priced per person. Group day tickets are priced for the stated group size, with an additional-person rate where shown. Accommodation is priced by room category, occupancy and meal plan.

For overnight stays, Bed & Breakfast includes breakfast; Half Board includes breakfast and dinner; Full Board includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Leisure and Immersion packages then shape the experiences included around the stay.

When a quotation is more useful

A school trip, wedding, residential retreat or larger organised visit can combine accommodation, meals, venues, facilitation, tours and activities. In those cases, one complete quotation is usually clearer than adding several standalone prices together.

The price of an overnight stay depends on three things: the room category, whether the room is occupied by one or two guests, and the meal plan selected.

What the meal plans include

Bed & Breakfast (B&B) includes accommodation and breakfast. Half Board (HB) includes accommodation, breakfast and dinner. Full Board (FB) includes accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Choosing a room category

The room categories move from Standard and Deluxe through Superior and Executive to the Lord's Room Suite. The right choice depends on the style of room you prefer, the number of guests sharing and how much of the day you expect to spend around the room itself.

Holiday periods such as Easter and Christmas may carry supplements, so those dates are best priced as a complete stay rather than calculated only from the standard table.

Tafaria uses published group tickets for straightforward day visits and tailored quotations for visits that combine several services or require a programme to be designed around the group.

When the published group ticket works well

The group day-ticket format suits families and friends who want the same Leisure or Immersion day experience and are travelling together.

When a custom quotation is better

Schools, conferences, retreats, weddings and larger organised visits often combine accommodation, meals, venues, facilitation, tours and activities. A tailored quotation brings those parts into one programme and one total.

Booking Tafaria is easiest when the first enquiry gives a clear picture of the visit you have in mind. Start with the preferred date, the number of people coming and whether you are planning a day visit, overnight stay, school programme, conference, wedding or another organised visit.

Day visits

For a day visit, share the number of adults and children and whether the priority is Leisure activities, the Tafaria Immersion experience or a group visit that needs a mixture of both. If you would like to add a meal, mention it at the same time so the day can be planned as one visit.

Overnight stays

Include the number of adults and children, the number of nights, how many rooms you need and any room-category preference. Choose the meal plan that suits the stay: B&B includes breakfast, Half Board includes breakfast and dinner, and Full Board includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

School trips

For a school visit, share student and teacher numbers, the learners' age or year group, preferred dates and whether the trip is a day programme or residential. It also helps to explain the learning priorities, such as Leadership, Life Skills, Agriculture or the Arts, so the programme can be built around the school rather than treated as a general tour.

Conferences, weddings and private events

For an organised event, include the expected number of guests, date or dates, accommodation needs, meals, preferred spaces and any meeting, technical, programme or activity requirements that are important to the occasion.

Tafaria conference pricing is offered as a per-person day package rather than simple room hire. The package combines the working environment, catering and selected experiences around the meeting.

What sits around the meeting

The conference offer can include meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor breakout spaces, presentation and video-conferencing facilities, internet, writing materials, tea and snacks, buffet lunch and team-building grounds.

Depending on the programme, a meeting can also be combined with experiences such as the castle, museum, Nano Farm, herbarium, arts, recreation and a Once Upon a Dream session.

Residential conferences and retreats

Accommodation is added separately when a group wants to stay overnight. For a residential retreat, the clearest approach is to quote the meeting package, rooms, meal plan and any planned activities together.

Tafaria lists breakfast, lunch and dinner separately for adults and children. These standalone prices are most useful for day visitors and for overnight guests adding a meal that is not already included in their booked meal plan.

This means a Full Board guest does not need to add breakfast, lunch or dinner separately, while a B&B guest may choose to add lunch or dinner and a Half Board guest may choose to add lunch.
