Certificates of participation, learning outcomes and how schools can capture value from a Tafaria goDream visit.
Students taking part in organised goDream programmes can receive certificates of participation as part of the learning experience. The certificate sits alongside the more important outcome: what learners have practised, discussed, created and reflected on during the visit.
Depending on the programme, students may work through leadership, agriculture, life-skills or applied-arts activities, supported by tours, facilitators, artists and practical sessions. The emphasis is on connecting ideas with something learners can see or do for themselves.
Teachers can extend the value of the trip by asking students to present what they noticed, turn an idea into a small project or connect the experience to classroom work. In that way, the certificate marks participation while the follow-up helps turn the visit into lasting learning.
