goDream Leadership gives student leaders a setting to practise the skills that are difficult to learn from a definition alone: communication, decision-making, teamwork, conflict resolution, responsibility and confidence.

Learning through situations

Sessions can combine discussion with activities that put students into situations where they must listen, decide, coordinate or reflect. The Tafaria Taxonomy adds another lens by using lessons from nature to discuss different leadership strengths.

Tailoring the leadership session

The programme is most useful when the school shares the roles learners already hold and the challenges the leadership team is facing. A prefect body, club leaders and a newly elected student council may need very different emphasis even when they are the same age.
