Through the Tafaria–CKL Africa Farming Knowledge & Advisory Centre, Tafaria works with farmers, students and community members to improve agricultural knowledge, encourage diversification, promote trusted technical advice and inspire careers in agriculture.

The practical focus is important: advice is more useful when farmers and learners can see examples, ask questions and compare options. The Nano Farm gives the advisory work a physical setting for demonstrations and discussion.
