The Nano Farm integrates crops, livestock and demonstration units.
Depending on the season, visitors may see vegetables, fruit, herbs and other crops together with rabbits, chickens, sheep and other farm animals. The farm continually evolves as a learning environment.
Tafaria has an integrated orchard with vegetables, chickens, sheep, bunnies and a food processor. These elements make it possible to discuss both production and what happens after harvest rather than presenting farming as crops alone.
The farm is used to show that agriculture is a system: crops, animals, tools, water, processing, design and daily work all affect one another. That makes it useful for students, farmers and curious leisure visitors.
The Nano Farm is set on Tafaria's farm beside the castle and is designed as an integrated small-scale learning environment. The Nano Farm includes an orchard, vegetables, chickens, sheep, bunnies and a food processor.
