The partnership exists to strengthen agricultural knowledge, inspire future farmers and make trusted technical advice more accessible to neighbouring communities, schools and visitors.

The centre is closely linked with the Nano Farm, where advice can be discussed against visible examples rather than remaining purely theoretical. It also gives school groups a route into agriculture as a field that combines science, enterprise and practical skill.
