These guidelines help ensure every visitor enjoys a safe, comfortable and memorable experience while protecting the facilities, natural environment and privacy of other guests.
Advance booking is recommended for accommodation, schools, conferences, weddings and organised groups. Day visitors are also welcome and may book at the gate, subject to capacity.
The standard day-visit fee is KSh 1,000 per adult and KSh 500 per child. The entrance fee is fully redeemable against one leisure activity offered at Tafaria. Current prices remain subject to official Tafaria updates.
Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Guests are requested to enjoy meals and refreshments provided by Tafaria's restaurants and catering facilities.
The property is located in Kenya's cool highlands. Comfortable walking shoes and warm clothing are recommended, particularly during mornings and evenings. Appropriate swimwear is required for pool use.
Photography for personal use is encouraged. Commercial photography and drone operations require prior approval to protect guest privacy, safety and scheduled activities.
Tafaria welcomes visitors of different ages and abilities. Many areas are wheelchair accessible and a wheelchair is available on site for guests who require assistance.
Children should remain under adult supervision. Visitors are expected to follow guidance provided by Tafaria staff, especially around animals, leisure activities and specialised equipment.
Visitors are encouraged to respect wildlife, plants, artworks and facilities. Responsible waste disposal, water conservation and care for the environment are part of the Tafaria experience.
