Tafaria is reached from the Nyeri-Nyahururu road in Kenya's central highlands. From Nyeri, the turn is about 65 km towards Nyahururu; from Nyahururu, it is about 39 km towards Nyeri.

Driving to Tafaria

The Nyeri-Nyahururu road is the main reference for the journey. Live navigation is useful for the final approach, particularly for a first visit, because it can guide you from the highway to the property without repeatedly checking distance markers.

Coming without a private car

Travellers using public transport can plan the main journey along the Nyeri-Nyahururu corridor and arrange the final connection in advance. If a pickup is required, agree the meeting point and timing before setting out rather than waiting until arrival at the junction.
